Center for

Design Study

The Center for Design Study was founded with the aim of promoting the teaching and research in the field of Industrial Design.

We coordinate and carry out the Laboratory of Science "Interior and exterior design for sustainable living", as well as the educational seminars and academic researches, public and private funding, relating to issues having reference to Industrial Design.

The Center is part of some research networks such as the National Network of Research SDI (Italy Design System) and the network LeNS (Learning Network on Sustainability): for them it constitutes a de facto headquarter of the Research Unit of the University of Chieti-Pescara.

Recently, it was designated as base of the "SIE-Sezione Abruzzo" (the local chamber of the Italian Society of Ergonomics).
